RE: wincvs problem with macros

Sharon,

This is not the WinCVS newsgroup. It is here:
http://groups.yahoo.com/subscribe/cvsgui

TortoiseCVS and WinCVS both use CVSNT as the actual versioning client. Any
problems at that level should be directed to the CVSNT newsgroup:
http://www.cvsnt.org/pipermail/cvsnt/

Regards,

Arthur Barrett

Not sure if this is where I need to post or not, but here goes...

I've just recently installed WinCVS at a job I've been at only a few
months (they had NO versioning control in place). Anyway, I've
installed it locally to work out how I want it laid out before putting
it on the server and teaching everyone how to use it. I only have one
problem; my macros don't seem to work from within the WinCVS client.
Specifically, I cannot graph or diff-- the graph function appears to
work, but then gives me no data. The diff function launches my
external merge app, but is looking for the wrong file, so my comparison
window is blank.

I then installed TortoiseCVS and the graph/diff functions work
perfectly from the explorer window. But I prefer the WinCVS ui...

can anyone help me figure out what's going on?

TIA,
Sharon
