Need a link

Hi folks,

I am installing CVS on Fedora for a private project and I just seem to
be missing something here. I installed CVS, configured it and performed
a cvs init, later I did a cvs login.

It threw up an error message saying that I have to use login instead of
cvs login and when I use login, the terminal exits abrubtly.

Folks can anyone of you point me to a link for configuring CVS on linux
( Fedora) for dummies :-)) something which explains different steps, a
document might also help
