If don't need the outer RO server to be up to date in real time with the real 
server then you might use a periodic rsync or rcp from the real server to the 
RO server.

If you need it to be "near real time" updated, you should ask about how those 
update methods above might be tied in with a commitinfo type script, probably 
similar to Keeping a checked out copy[1].
