cvs repository copy

Hi,

I would like to restructure a cvs repository preserving the revision
histories of the files.This may include possibly moving the files into
another repository while restructuring. From a search of the usenet
archives it appears that this can be achieved using a repo-copy.

Can anyone give me advice on exactly how to do this and any pitfalls
with it. Thanks in advance for any help.
