Info about strange files in repository

Hello,

we recently recovered a full CVS repository of projects and found that
strange files have been generated (we know that the recovery process
from a damaged harddisk could have "resumed" files that were previously
deleted!). Most of the "strange" files (like old lock files) have been
identified, now my only doubt is related to file with names starting
with a comma like:
"clienti/E9/sw/,pippo.doc,"

Any knowledge about them? I'm almost sure that these are temporary files
written by the CVS server during its work and I could delete them but I
need to be sure. Thanks!
