I do not understand what you mean by a 'CVS Repository Dump' as that is
not something that CVS uses or creates. If you mean that you have a
clone of a cvs repository or a backup copy of a cvs repository you 
are trying to use, then that might be more useful to know.

Are you using cvsnt? If so, then asking on http://www.cvsnt.org/ may be
more useful than asking here. This forum is primarily for discussion of
the command-line versions of CVS rather than CVSNT or the various GUI
programs which may be used with either CVS or CVSNT repositories.
