CVSNT runs on Linux too...

CVSNT is basically a version of CVS with non-core SCM features - like
change sets, merge tracking, audit, reserved edits etc  - not all SCM
users want those features so hence why there are separate projects for
them ...  

Yes you would have to "upgrade" - but if Jtest fix their product you'll
have to upgrade that too - so one way or another an upgrade will be
needed...
