cvs log Use head revision if tag/date not found.

Hi

I need to gather all CVS comments starting from a certain tag, but
have a problem if a new file is checked into CVS, because it in this
case hasn't got the tag.

I am doing a "cvs log -rMYTAG:: *".

I am missing a "-f" option (Use head revision if tag/date not found.)
ala what is available for the CVS diff command.

Does anybody know a workaround for doing this?.
