RE: "No Such System User"

Larry,

Both of the users I have tried exist on the server.  This is a new server and 
right now there are only two user accounts, mine & root.
The passwd file looks like this:

root:*******:cvs
craig:******:cvs

The "*" would be the encrypted password.
If I wanted the cvs server to just use the /etc/shadow file instead how would I 
do that?
