how to read log file created by setting cvs_client_log

Hi,

We are randomly getting the message:
cvs [checkout aborted]: cannot rename file CVS/Entries.Backup to CVS/
Entries: Permission denied



******* cvs -z3 -d :pserver:address@hidden:/cvs/ITR checkout -r projects
failed: 256 *******

The filemon log shows the following line
16:20:02        cvs.exe:2792    SET INFORMATION         F:\apach-plug\CVS
\Entries.Backup * 0xC0000123    FileRenameInformation

I have added an environment variable called cvs_client_log to generate
a log file.
However I am not sure how to read it as it is in binary format.
