Vetrivel,

Are you using CVS or CVSNT?  Most people running windows are using
CVSNT.  You can check by running this command:

   cvs ver

CVSNT is NoT CVS.  CVSNT is written and supported in Australia by March
Hare Pty Ltd.

Windows Server 2008 is fully supported by CVSNT 2.8.01.  Older versions
of CVSNT have known problems with Windows Server 2008.
