Requirements for CVSNT/CVS 2.x on Windows/Linux/Solaris/HPUX/Mac are

For CVS 1.x the book 'Essential CVS' includes some guidelines in Section
'III CVS Administration' below '6. Repository Management' under the
heading 'Creating A Repository'.
