Yes.
I ran across a package recently (using libtool) that had this problem under Solaris. Regenerating the build with local auto* tools solved the problem,
That's what I did and it worked (it was Linux in my case). I suspect that the problem was caused by the fact, that my builddir contained files generated by libtool-1.5.2.
but if the problem occurs for more than one person, there is certainly a bug somewhere.
