#1 and #2 are incompatible, since #2 requires preservation of
copyright notices, and #1 discards the copyright notices.
So #3 isn't logical.

#2 sounds better to me than #1, since it makes the licensing terms
clearer.

Would you use the exact same wording in #2 that you already uses in
the aux scripts?  Does that wording still apply?
