You keep using the plural, when your script specifically checks for a singular 
case.

It's not a replacement for libtool until it can support the overwhelming 
majority of modern systems, and not just GNU/Linux. FreeBSD, NetBSD, OpenBSD, 
OpenSolaris, Darwin.
