Hello,

I identified the problem. Or I think I've do ;).

If I remove "--disable-fast-install" from default configure options
then the DESTDIR will be correctly supported by libtool and the final
binary will be "finished" in my chrooted environment (pbuilder).

There is still a problem with "make distcheck" but I'll post about this
later.
