Hmm.  What is the output of these commands?
  uname -mrsv
  uname -p
  uname -X
  /bin/arch
  /usr/bin/arch -k
  /usr/convex/getsysinfo
  /usr/bin/hostinfo
  /bin/machine
  /usr/bin/oslevel
  /bin/universe

(We still need answers for the remaining question from my previous
mail, BTW.)
