With the help of a grant given by the Regional Government of Madrid, a
group of four Spanish, Portuguese and French Universities has been
working on the design of a European Master on libre (free, open source)
software, within the framework of the European Higher Education Space
(Bologna process). Some of the information related to this work is
appearing at http://www.nongnu.org/masterlibre/

During mid December (probably on 9th), we are planning a one-day meeting
in Brussles to present the results of this work, to get feedback, to
share experiences related to higher education seminars, courses,
masters, etc. on libre software. Assistance will be free, only subject
to space limitations (and therefore confirmation will be needed). Anyone
with experience in teaching libre software issues, and/or interested in
the idea of a master study on this topic is specially invited to come.
The detailed agenda of the meeting will be available shortly.

To help us to size the room, and to fix the final date, please, send a
note to our organizing secretariat (Cristina Rodrigo
<address@hidden> in case you could be interested in
assisting.

In case you are interested in the idea, and with independence of the
assistance to the meeting, please consider subscribing to the mailing
list available at https://savannah.nongnu.org/mail/?group=masterlibre

Saludos,

        Jesus.

PS: There is a provision for a partial refunding of travel expenses in
certain cases. If you want your case to be considered, let us know.
