J. Ignacio García Tejedor receives the B.S. degree from the University de Alcalá (UAH). He is now lecturer of the Computer Engineering Department at the University of Alcalá in Spain where his research and teaching activities are in the areas of Operating Systems, Computer Architecture and Embedded Systems. He has participated actively in some research projects in the area of hardware and software on-board satellites such as FUEGO 2 or the development of Linux for the ERC32 computing platform. He is active in the libre software word since 1995 and currently he is interested in libre software engineering and education.
