Let me know if you have any Linux-related questions, although, you shouldn't run into any problems with Knoppix (also there is tons of documentation online for any problems).

Also, on the wiki page you have the schematics for the board (if you have hardware experience, maybe you can make the PCB?), although boards should be available soon! You can ask about this in the IRC channel to some of the more Senior members of the group (I'm getting started as well).
