Thanks for the Quick response.

I have plugged in the USB to the Board before powering it on, and have also removed the brltty.

This is the only area that I could find after typing in "dmesg" that resembled what you suggested to look for:

[ 2479.823406] usb 5-1: FTDI USB Serial Device converter now attached to ttyUSB0
[ 2557.296257] usb 5-1: USB disconnect, address 6
[ 2557.296726] ftdi_sio ttyUSB0: FTDI USB Serial Device converter now disconnected from ttyUSB0
[ 2557.296764] ftdi_sio 5-1:1.0: device disconnected

So from what little I understand it looks like the computer is not even recognizing the board.  Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Race

That's your hint.

"no USB device"

Check:
 - is the autopilot connected to the USB before you give it power? It's only on power on that P0.23 checks for 5v from the USB. If you connect the USB after powering on the board P0.23 is not checked and the LPC is not going to go into USB boot mode. Once it is in USB Boot mode it appears as a USB device to the computer.

- Is the computer detecting the USB device? At a terminal window type "dmesg" to see the messages. Look for /dev/ttyUSB0 or /dev/ttyUSB1 or /dev/ttyUSBx where x= 1..10

- Have you removed "brltty" per the Wiki? "sudo apt-get remove brltty" this is known to interfere with USB and Paparazzi.
