many camera are working good. basically you should choose one has M mode, for
you can have right A, Tv and focus distance in the air. and bigger sensor
can make you have more ground detail, light sensibility. CMOS is better than
CCD but more expensive. also you need care about lens type. weight is just
depend on your vehicle capability. for example, Canon S110 is good for a
mapping. also you can use DSLR, it will have much better performance.
