- The SuperbitRF doesn't transmit any RC channels your normal transmitter does. But it allows up to 14 RC channels at a rate of 44ms (2 packets of 7 channels), which is actually 4 packets because every packet is send twice. It should also work with the 11ms rate(but maybe needs some improvement on that first) and then you have a rate of 22ms for 14 RC channels. In the future also the DSMX channels will work, so the 14+ channels, but these channels even have a lower rate.
- The maximum rate of the two-way datalink is 14 bytes / 22ms uplink and 14 bytes / 22ms downlink. So this is about 630 bytes p/s uplink and downlink, which also includes the overhead of the PPRZ packets. This is the theoretical maximum, but there are currently some problems that it misses some packets.. so the effective rate is a bit less.

I have been looking at the Lisa/S board and noticed the custom radio module. from the description I gather that it will allow sending R/C commands at the regular rate (22ms packets), which should allow for 8 channels at least.

Some things aren't clear in the text though.

- How many R/C channels does this hardware transmit and at which rate?
- What is going to be the max. baudrate for the two-way telemetry link?

Rgds,

Gerard
