Hello,

The message format (http://wiki.paparazziuav.org/wiki/Messages_Format) is the same for uplink (a.k.a. datalink) and downlink (a.k.a. telemetry).
XBee can either use the PPRZ format if you use telemetry type "transparent" in your airframe, or XBEE format if you use "xbee_api" type.
The messages are defined in conf/messages.xml file.
The three main classes of messages are telemetry, datalink and ground (messages between the ground agents using Ivy, see http://wiki.paparazziuav.org/wiki/Ivy and http://wiki.paparazziuav.org/wiki/DevGuide/Server_GCS_com for some hints on this part).

Hello,

I couldn't find the message format of telecommand messages, which goes from GCS to the plane via Xbee transmitter. Does anybody know this format?

Is there a header showing the number of bytes of a telecommand packet? We found the format of messages going from plane to GCS, but we couln't find the data format of the messages giong from GCS to plane.

Cheers,

Refik
