To the next maintainer of GNU Prolog:
please consider revising gprolog.h so as to facilitate
users who insist in writing const-correct code.
For instance, the declaration
int FC Create_Allocate_Atom(char *name);
should probably be changed so as to read
int FC Create_Allocate_Atom(const char *name);
