Hi people,

faster/more lightweight X network protocol is one of the goals
of Xouvert, right?
For a X protocol compression scheme look at this:

Also, did I mention that the Y window system project is also
under an open source license, with all code available?
(see my previous post)
I would seem to me that picking some pieces from these projects
(of course with asking permission, and retaining their
licenses) could speed up the development of Xouvert.
