[xougen] PRE-ANNOUNCE: hackers release later today

Our Icelandic coder Andri Yngvason has prepared the first cut of the
Xouvert source code tree and gotten it to compile.  He will be
inaugurating Xouvert by importing this source into our archive tonight
(November 1, 2003, PST).

We will make the source code available courtesy of the "tla push-mirror"
command, on Savannah and Freedesktop.org shortly afterward.

This will be a hackers only release, in that it is something to start
hacking on, not a product for people to use.

To everyone who has been patient: thanks for waiting!
