Hi, Alexander, see a2ps manual, vers. 4.13, page 22:

              --pretty-print[=language]
              ...
              Note that setting language to 'plain' turns off pretty printing.

Example:

1. 

address@hidden [HOME]: a2ps x.html
[x.html (html, delegated to Netscape): 1 page on 1 sheet]
request id is address@hidden
[Total: 2 pages on 1 sheet] sent to the default printer

2.

address@hidden [HOME]: a2ps --pretty-print=plain x.html 
[x.html (plain): 2 pages on 1 sheet]
request id is address@hidden
[Total: 2 pages on 1 sheet] sent to the default printer

In the second case, the pure text of the html doc is printed.
