In my opinion, changing frameworks is not a good idea unless you have a
very very good idea why you're doing it, and have experience with the
alternative frameworks. SDL looks worse because you've got experience
using it, and know all its problems. I'm sure that ClanLib, and any
other framework, has just as many problems that don't become apparent
until you have had extensive experience with the library.

I have been looking through the Adonthell code, and there is alot of
carefully thought-out logic in there. Imho, effort is best spent
building on this foundation, rather than having to rewrite half the
logic porting it to another framework which doesn't have any definitive
known advantages.

Sounds good - if you could point me to a repository of documentation on
the topic that have been made so far, I'll have a look at them.
