Yeah. But before I used a PCI card with a ES1371.

Not currently. I always just try to minimize it and until I don't have
to make big compromises between different speed-optimized options or
similar, I don't need it. But that could be implemented by a
remote-feedback-and-autocorrellation-round-trip method I guess. :)

For now, for latencies >=0.5s just use a stop watch. You can also try to
use the built-in recording function and look at the sound file when the
remote feedback is recognizable. To be more precise, record the results
between the computer and your telephone (in stereo?) and analyse the
waveform. ;-)
