I am having a problem setting up ASPELL on a solaris box I run

./configure --prefix=/usr/local/bin/

then I run & get the following result ...:

make

Making all in auto

Making all in common

make  all-am

if /bin/bash ../libtool --mode=compile g++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H  -I. -I. -I.      -g -O2 -MT string.lo -MD -MP -MF ".deps/string.Tpo" \

  -c -o string.lo `test -f 'string.cpp' || echo './'`string.cpp; \

then mv ".deps/string.Tpo" ".deps/string.Plo"; \

else rm -f ".deps/string.Tpo"; exit 1; \

fi

mkdir .libs

 g++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I. -g -O2 -MT string.lo -MD -MP -MF .deps/string.Tpo -c string.cpp  -fPIC -DPIC

I think it's got something to do with libstdc++ but when I search for libstdc++ I find

/usr/local/lib/libstdc++.a

/usr/local/lib/libstdc++.la

/usr/local/lib/libstdc++.so

/usr/local/lib/libstdc++.so.3

/usr/local/lib/libstdc++.so.3.0.0

What am I doing wrong ?
