Hi,

I am new to Aspell and have fallen at the first hurdle.

I am using Linux Radhat 8 and perl 5.6.1.

I am have been trying to install the perl module of Aspell (Text::Aspell)
using cpan and have run into a couple of problems. Firstly an include file
couldn't be found - I got over this by installing the latest version of
Aspell by hand into /usr/local. There are now a copies in /usr/ and
/usr/local. I think this is okay. Secondly when running test
Text::Aspell I get the following -

cpan> test Text::Aspell
Running test for module Text::Aspell
Running make for H/HA/HANK/Text-Aspell-0.03.tar.gz
  Is already unwrapped into directory
/usr/local/cpan5.6.1/build/Text-Aspell-0.03
  Has already been processed within this session
Running make test
PERL_DL_NONLAZY=1 /usr/local/bin/perl "-MExtUtils::Command::MM" "-e"
"test_harness(0, 'blib/lib', 'blib/arch')" t/*.t

Failed 1/1 test scripts, 0.00% okay. 10/21 subtests failed, 52.38% okay.
make: *** [test_dynamic] Error 11
  /usr/bin/make test -- NOT OK

Can anyone please point me in the right direction in order to get this
working.

Thanks in advance.

David
