Yep, you better don't, because I will never switch 🙃 [1]

Mercurial is still the better VCS (at least for
me), because

    1. It has named branches, and topic (short lived named branches you
can delete). So I do understand mercurial graphs but not the ones
       of git

    2. The difference between local and remote/origin branches in git drives me
crazy.

    3. Mercurial has local revision numbers that are very convenient. So
I don't have to type hashes.

    4. Mercurial has keyword expansion that is very nifty for latex files

And most importantly 90% of my repos are for latex not for coding, my
collaborators struggle with mercurial, I don't want to think what they
would say about git.....

Ok sorry for the rant. Was off topic 😇

Footnotes:
[1] I said the same about Xemacs, but then I changed in 2015, because
Steven Turnbull called it a day. Truth being told Xemacs is/was a
GNU emacs forge, while mercurial is independent of git, however I
don't make myself any illusions. It still exists because Facebook
is using it, supporting and even extending it.
