Details:
If the macro AX_BOOST_BASE does not detect a simple "system" layout for boost,
it tries to find it in versioned directories. Unfortunately, that path of
logic set BOOST_LDFLAGS to null. Other parts of the code already check
ac_boost_lib_path before altering BOOST_LDFLAGS, except for one place.
