to *Absurd* levels of precision.  Kind of like
why people climb mountains, because they can.  :-)

Lots of good practical advice as well.

The One-Pulse-Per-Second output of the GPS receiver is usually
uses to "discipline" some other oscillator.

doing this in the last year or so.

What exactly are you trying to accomplish, as there
maybe other options besides GPS?
