The AVRfreaks Wiki has been up for some time, now.  It uses the same Wiki 
system as Wikipedia.  However, I can't figure out how to contact anyone with 
administrative or poliicy-setting priviledges.  Many pages read more like 
personal blogs than encyclopedia entries.

Woldn't that involve effort comparable to organizing the Wiki properly?

I think it's just a collection of the messages that were posted over a 
period of time.  Some people prefer to receive this rather than getting each 
individual message in an e-mail as soon as it is posted.
