Hi,

I thought you were driving the MOS FET directly from the ATMega32, but no,
the LS7289 is doing everything
How can the ATmega can burned out the ICs ?  you only have access to Step
and Direction .

Hi am am having the same problem also have just burned out 5 IC
today.....with heat sink on l298

atmega168.......... and a l297 with l298.......... did you ever come up with
a solution for this?
