Do the window pop up whithout content, or don't they appear at all?

Try running the programs from a terminal window. Try to run
`baby-gui-game'. Look whether there are any error messages.

I developed the program also on Red Hat 7.1 (Seawolf).

If the program opens windows that means it runs and all libraries are
found.

It seems the programs lock somewhere, but since it's the same OS this
is weird.

Good luck, and thanks for trying out BabyChess!
