Follow-up Comment #4, bug #27028 (project bibledit):

If I am receiving all Ubuntu updates, will Git be updated automatically?
What version is the newest?

When I continued working yesterday, the problem in wide spacing of footnotes
seemed to heal itself. This morning when I loaded, the footnotes were again
widely spaced. After looking at two other chapters and returning to ch15, they
are back to displaying normally...for now.
