Hi
After slashdot anouncement about gimp2 release. I downloaded the source and
began to compile. but ./configure and INSTALL said that I should use gtk+2.2
I'm using GTK+2.1. so I ftped to gtk. org and get gtk+-2.2.1 and pango-1.2.5
and glib-2.2.3 ( gtk+ depend on the other two). both glib and pango compiled
successfully but Gtk+ give me the following error.
>configure: Error: Library rquirements (glib-2.0 >=2.1.4 atk>= 1.0.1 pango >=
>1.0.1) not met; consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH enviroment variable if
>your libraries are in a nonstandard prefix so pkg-cofig can find them.
Can anybody help.
thanks
ps. I'm a newbie in compilling. I must admit that this is my first compile
from source. so please be kind!!
