When configuring amanda-2.4.4p1 for compiling with gcc 2.8.1 on Solaris 7 I
get the following:

checking netinet/in_systm.h usability... yes
checking netinet/in_systm.h presence... yes
checking for netinet/in_systm.h... yes
checking netinet/ip.h usability... no
checking netinet/ip.h presence... yes
configure: WARNING: netinet/ip.h: present but cannot be compiled
configure: WARNING: netinet/ip.h: check for missing prerequisite headers?
configure: WARNING: netinet/ip.h: proceeding with the preprocessor's result
configure: WARNING: ## ------------------------------------ ##
configure: WARNING: ## Report this to address@hidden ##
configure: WARNING: ## ------------------------------------ ##
checking for netinet/ip.h... yes

...so I am reporting it as requested.

The configure command was:

$ ./configure --with-user=amanda \
> --with-group=other --prefix=/usr/local/amanda \
> --without-server --with-includes=/usr/local/include \
> --with-libraries=/usr/local/lib \
> --with-gnutar
