Download bash-4.2.tar.gz and then download bash42-001, bash42-002, and
so on. Extract the tarball, then apply all of the patches to it.
Thus:
gzip -dc bash-4.2.tar.gz | tar xf -
cd bash-4.2
for i in ../bash42-*; do patch -p0 < "$i"; done
