cvs 1.11.9 for windows hanging

I am using CVS to access sourceforge as a developer.

All the commands work fine, except at the end, they never terminate.

E.g. even if I do a "cvs log xxx" it does the log then just hangs.

ctlr-c and all is well.

Any ideas?

BTW, it is still prompting for a password, but I expect that problem
to go away soon as my identity.pub takes effect.  Could that be the
cause?
