Printing from StarOffice problem

SuSE 7.2 (linux 2.4.4-4GB )
GNU Ghostscript 5.50 (2000-2-13)

I am chasing a problem that I have with printing StarOffice output.
As I understand it, my printer is already configured to use ghostscript
and I can print PostScript from Netscape just fine, so I am not sure
where the problem is.

What I want to do now is run ghostscript directly on the StarOffice
PostScript file, but I don't seem to know how to identify the print
device to ghostscript. My first trial was with a file that I can
already know that I can print.

By the way, my printcap entry looks like this:

printer1|lp8|y2prn_printer1.upp--auto-printer1|y2prn_printer1.upp auto:

I believe that indicates that I am using the uniprint driver. So it is
really two questions: (1) how do I figure out the correct device and
(2) do I need to specify the driver in some fashion? I've tried
specifying "uniprint":

gs -sDEVICE=uniprint -dNOPAUSE -r300 -q -sPAPERSIZE=letter
-sOutputFile=gs_test.out test.ps

With that, gs gives me an "Error: /undefined in --.outputpage--" even
though, as I mentioned, this is a PostScript file that I can print out.

What am I doing wrong?

Dan
