Hi Andreas. What do you mean by asking me wether I run
configure again? If understand you exactly my answer
is definetly yes. I runned it several time may-be
fifteen but and every time i had unapcked the
glibc-2.3.1.tar.gz package again and the results are
the same. I use binutils-2.9.1 and could you tell me
how to fix that problem.
P.S. I tried to build using the method of Trinetoo,
Paolo:
#mkdir ../glibc-build
#cd ../glibc-build
#../glibc-2.3.1/configure --prefix=/usr
--disable-profile --enable-add-ons
--libexecdir=/usr/bin --enable-kernel=2.4.19
#echo "cross-compiling = no" > configparms
#make
/*Here it stopped because of the error.
#env LANGUAGE=C LC_ALL=C make install
#make localedata/install-locales
