Yes, I see ... However, why does "find-file" (via the "(interactive)" F
option which calls read-file-name, I presume) prompt me with the
directory ("~/", for example) and then not set it as DEFAULT-FILENAME?
It obviously has an idea about the default, otherwise it could not
prompt as it does. Furthermore, I did not enter a null string, but the
directory of the visited file. So it simply should use it.
