Bug in Emacs 22.1 (documentation)

   I am running GNU Emacs 22.1.1 (i386-mingw-nt5.1.2600) of 2007-06-02 under Windows 5.1.

 

   The README file on the toplevel installation directory claims:

 

                “The file INSTALL in this directory says how to build and install GNU Emacs …”

 

   However, there is no file named “INSTALL” on this directory, or on any other directory I checked.

 

   I believe the file you mean to refer to is README.W32 on the toplevel directory.  This file contains installation instructions.
