[Bug-gnubg] set path sgf problems

I have tried to set a path for saving my match files.

When I try to save I always get the message "Directory unreadable: No such
file or directory"

I have tried:
set path sgf C:\dirname
set path sgf C:\dirname\
set path sgf "C:\dirname"
set path sgf "C:\dirname\"


set path mat "C:\Program Files\bbgt\matches\" works fine.

I've just tried exactly the same path for set path sgf to no avail.
