DOS-style without quotation marks.

set path mat c:\gnubg-gtk13\

works fine, but

set path mat c:\gnubg-gtk13

opens the file dialog box at the root directory.

....hmmmmmm.... there is more ....

set path met can't be set at this computer whatever I try, can this be the
same as Ian has?
