Yes, that's an idea.

And if you add these two simple lines in .gnubgrc:

list match
set annotation on

You will also ave all the windows at startup.

This link is for the implementation of a MDI in win32 API, however
the GNU Backgammon project uses GTK+ for making the graphic user
interface. The link is therefore useless for us unless we write
a native win32 interface. I can't see this necesarry since the GTK
based interface is stable and portable. Also - mostly all of the
development is done with computers running some kind of UNIX or
UNIX like operating systems. Have you ever heard of UNIX?
